Position: Powder Coating SPRATY PAINTER $35/HR NIGHT SHIFT

The team works with a variety of metal and manufactured products, helping clients achieve durable, consistent finishes that meet strict quality standards. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Powder Coating Spray Painter position located in Mississauga, ON, working the night shift at a rate of $25-35 per hour. The Powder Coating Spray Painter will prepare surfaces for coating, including cleaning, masking, plugging, and hanging parts on the line according to specifications. The role involves setting up and operating powder coating spray equipment, adjusting spray guns, and applying coatings to achieve proper coverage, thickness, and finish.

The individual will inspect coated parts for defects, perform touch-ups or rework as needed, and follow quality control standards and work orders. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and safe work area, performing basic equipment checks, and following all safety and environmental procedures related to coatings and materials.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Paint, Painting, and Spray Painting for industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with Painting and Decorating techniques relevant to finishing, masking, and detail work.
  • Knowledge of Coatings, including powder coating application, curing processes, and surface preparation.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, drawings, and job specifications accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, consistency, and meeting production targets.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move parts, and work in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Commitment to safe work practices, including proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Previous experience in powder coating, industrial painting, or a related manufacturing role is an asset.
