Packaging Operator*
* ** Job Description*
* The Packaging Operator plays a key role in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility by packaging medical pill products according to customer work orders, following strict GMP and SOP standards. In this position, you work on a rotating shift schedule in a clean, temperature-controlled environment, performing detailed packaging, inspection, documentation, and labeling tasks while wearing full PPE. You contribute directly to product quality and safety by maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

** Responsibilities*
* Package bottles of medical pill products into boxes according to customer work orders and production requirements.
Inspect boxes and packaged products for damage, cracks, or other quality issues and remove nonconforming items from the line.
Perform labeling and ticketing of packages, ensuring all labels are accurate, legible, and correctly placed.
Complete product sampling off the production line as required and follow established sampling procedures.
Load finished packaged products onto carts and move them to designated storage or staging areas.
Weigh packages to confirm they meet specified weight requirements and document any discrepancies.
Accurately document production activities throughout the entire shift, including completion of work orders and required forms.
Follow all GMP and SOP requirements during packaging, inspection, documentation, and handling of products.

** Essential Skills*
* Previous packaging experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment or strong ability to follow strict procedures and standards.
General labor and general production experience, including basic material handling and repetitive tasks.
Basic computer skills to complete documentation and electronic work orders.
Ability to read and write in English to understand SOPs, GMP requirements, and complete written documentation.
