As a Press Brake Operator at Ryerson, you will be responsible for set-up, programming and operating a press brake according to customer specifications.
This position will work Monday through Thursday from 6:30am to 4:00 pm and Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm
Roles and Responsibilities
Set up, program and operate a Press Brake according to customer specifications
Measure and verify that the parts produced meet print specs
Safely operate a forklift to handle materials
Document basic material, production and quality control issues
Key orders in our internal systems to track status
Maintain machinery to ensure proper working conditions
Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level
All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of press brake experience required
Prior forklift experience required
Basic math skills required
Ability to read and interpret blue prints and drawings required
Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer
Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobility

Hourly Rate: $28.13 - $30.89. A starting hourly rate higher than $28.13 is based on a level of experience that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
