Material Handling Operator

Step into a critical role at Terrapure Environmental as a Material Handling Operator in Mississauga, ON. Your primary focus will be facilitating the movement of raw and recyclable materials effectively.

In this full-time position, you will operate under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor, transporting materials throughout the plant using manual and powered methods. You will engage in sorting production materials, maintaining cleanliness, and operating cleaning machinery to keep the workspace safe and efficient. Your proactive contributions will enhance overall plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport raw materials and recyclables across the plant

• Sort and pick items on production lines

• Clean work spaces and equipment regularly

• Assist management with minor repairs when necessary

• Use cleaning machines like power washers and vacuums

Requirements:

• Must have completed secondary school

• Experience in a similar production or warehouse environment

• Forklift or overhead crane skills are beneficial

• Strong physical ability for material handling

• Valid certification in OHSA and WHMIS is essential
