Kelly Services has partnered with a client in Mississauga, ON to recruit for a Temp Coverage role for 6 months (extendable). Starting ASAP.
Basic PurposeResponsible for invoicing and clerical work of maintaining the maintenance storeroom equipment, tools, parts, and materials and other inventory supplies.
Responsibilities- Receives and processes all maintenance and plant consumable invoices.
- Electronically receives and puts away received items into their designated locations or distributes to requesting individuals.
- Maintains continuous inventory, supplies, equipment, tools, parts and materials, and records reflecting all dispersals and returns.
- Creates supplier records and contact information in tandem with the corporate AP group.
- Distributes and collects all operations work orders into software system and reports on compliance.
- Conducts daily cycle count of parts to ensure database accuracy and reports found variances.
- Generates overdue purchasing reports to supervisor and administrator.
- Provides weekly R&M spending reports to Maintenance Manager and other financial reporting as required.
- Manages all SDS binders for Real Cup facility.
- Manages all packing slips, service reports, food contact forms, repair tags, production line safety forms, calibration forms, etc.
- Identifies opportunities to reduce parts storage and working capital.
- Keeps inventory area clean and tidy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience with CMMS or ERP software.
- Knowledge of inventory and invoicing processes.
- Ability to work with others on a daily basis in a friendly, productive workplace.
- Can‑do and will‑do attitude.
- Broad knowledge and experience with Infor EAM CMMS software preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office:
Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point. - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to initiate tasks without direction.
- Detail‑oriented.
- Knowledge of maintenance equipment, tools, parts and materials and related inventory supplies.
- Demonstrates mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices as they apply to the operation of a storeroom containing a variety of inventory items.
- Knowledge of computerized and manual systems of inventory control and management.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting at times.
- Ability to prepare and maintain inventory records and reports.
- Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations.
- Demonstrates personal organizational skills.
- Ability to train others.
- Monday to Friday onsite.
- Temp role for 6 months (extendable).
- Pay rate: $22/hour + 4% vacation pay.
