Operations Support Technician

Position: Operations Support Technician I
Objective
To assist and provide help in meeting daily production and miscellaneous tasks needs in order to achieve daily KPI’s.

Shift Time: 2:00pm - 10:30pm.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Sandblasting machine parts for AR machines

Maintaining Room Cleanliness and upholding Checklists.

Aluminum Cut Out's (Template Guidance).

Cleaning (Hand Polish) Miscellaneous Parts, Copper Liners for Assembly work.

Assist in the basic operation, cleaning and ongoing maintenance of laboratory tools and equipment by following established maintenance procedures and calendars.

Cleaning of Bisphera Edging Machines (internal and external cleaning at end of day).

Cleaning Ryvac Dust Collectors and Rigid Shop Vacs.

Cleaning of job trays to remove polish.

Other duties as requested.

Qualifications

High School Graduate / GED or equivalent experience.

Experience with machine operation preferred 6 months to one year in a manufacturing environment.

Must be able to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment.

Must be well organized, detail oriented, have excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.

Continuous learning is a large part of this position.

Must have good communication skills (both verbal and written).

Must be able to work in a team atmosphere as well as an individual with minimal supervision.

Physical Skill and Effort

On feet most of the day.

High noise levels (not to exceed standards).

High dust levels (PPE and dust protection provided).

Work produced is subject to precise measures of quantity and quality.

Manual dexterity required to manipulate objects: handling by seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with the hands and fingers.

Occasional lifting/carrying 15 lbs or less, pushing/pulling 30 lbs or less.
