Skilled Machinist

Join our Mississauga team as a Skilled Machinist, specializing in precision machining and set-up of conventional and computer-controlled tools. This full-time, on-site position offers a competitive hourly wage.

We are seeking a motivated machinist with 3-5 years of manufacturing experience and a strong ability to interpret engineering drawings. Key responsibilities include computing dimensions of machine parts, fitting components with precision, and maintaining inspection records. This position is permanent and requires independent work in a general manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts

• Measure and lay out work for assembly

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

• Set up and adjust production machinery

• Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduation certificate

• 3-5 years of machining experience

• Proficient in operating computer-controlled tools

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently
