Material Handler at IPEX

Join IPEX as a Material Handler on a fixed-term contract at our Mississauga plant. This role focuses on packaging and preparing products for distribution, offering on-the-job training.

The Material Handler will work full-time on a 3-month contract reporting to the Production Manager. Responsibilities include measuring, inspecting, and packaging finished goods, while ensuring compliance with company standards. No prior experience is necessary; however, candidates should be ready to engage in a fast-paced environment and adapt to a rotating shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mobile equipment for finished product packaging

• Identify equipment processing issues and report to supervisors

• Measure and log product specifications

• Maintain cleanliness in material storage areas

• Assist in production line setup and startup

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Manufacturing experience is an asset

• Familiarity with plastic extrusion is preferred

• Good communication skills required

• Must be flexible with shift rotations
