- Lead strategic initiatives related to structural engineering for facility, architectural build and factory design.
- Lead and facilitate governance on budget follow‑up, communication, Pearson project, Kaizens projects, KPIs and all‑hands presentations.
- Prepare business cases covering budgets, scheduling, costing and program directives.
- Prepare initial and revised factory design and utilize cost‑competitiveness input from unionised employees to decide on component sourcing.
- Analyse site and programme‑level financial budgets; monitor resolution of over‑cycled operational deliverables based on technical input from unionised employees.
- Oversee plant engineering, bay‑level infrastructure and facility optimisation.
- Govern operational improvement projects for senior management reviews.
- Monitor and track the status of PIP and RFR processes.
- Track turnaround time of ANDON (liaison) activities.
- Report theoretical capacity for machine loading, efficiency, capacity and cost based on technical input from unionised employees.
- Coordinate programme manufacturing schedule for first article based on technical input from unionised employees.
- Undergraduate degree with a strong concentration in an analytical discipline.
- More than 3 years of experience, preferably in a strategy environment within a manufacturing firm or consultancy.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is an asset.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into practical models.
- Strategic mind with strong analytical and synthesising skills.
- Highly motivated and able to see the position as an opportunity to develop skills and contribute to high‑impact initiatives.
- Strong multitasking ability in a demanding and continuously changing environment.
- Creativity in problem solving.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
- Ability to exercise full discretion with highly confidential matters.
- Capability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Base salary range: CAD $56,500 to CAD $88,800 per year. The exact salary will be determined by Bombardier’s discretion based on skills, experience and qualifications.
