General Machinist

General Machinist – Mississauga, ON

We are seeking a skilled General Machinist with experience in both manual and CNC machining to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. The ideal candidate has robust mechanical knowledge and can produce high-quality precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (lathe, mill, drill)
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Machine parts to tight tolerances
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with fabrication, assembly, and secondary operations
• Meet production schedules and deadlines

• Proven machining experience (manual and/or CNC)
• Strong understanding of machining processes and materials
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Basic math skills (feeds, speeds, tolerances)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Fabrication and forklift experience are assets

Pay: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday to Friday – Day shift: 7:30AM – 4:30PM. Overtime available as needed.
