Packaging Operator

The Packaging Operator supports pharmaceutical production by packaging medical pills according to customer work orders while following strict GMP and SOP standards. In this role, you work in a clean, temperature-controlled facility, performing hands‑on packaging, inspection, documentation, and basic computer-based tasks.

• Package bottles of pharmaceutical products into boxes according to customer work orders and production requirements.
• Perform quality inspections on boxes to ensure they are not damaged, cracked, or otherwise defective before release.
• Apply labels and tickets to packages accurately, following established SOPs and GMP standards.
• Complete product sampling off the production line as required and handle samples according to documented procedures.
• Load finished, packaged products onto carts and prepare them for storage or shipment.
• Weigh packages to confirm they meet specified requirements and document results where needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the entire shift, completing work orders and required production records using basic computer systems.

• Previous packaging experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably within GMP-regulated operations.
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) in a production setting.
• Basic computer skills to complete documentation and work orders accurately.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks, including lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Night shifts. Contract to Hire position based out of Mississauga, ON.

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Fully onsite.
