Job Overview

As a Sr Production Planner here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor in managing and optimizing production schedules to meet customer demand efficiently within our aerospace operations. You will report directly to our Director Production Planning and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, Ontario location. In this role, you will impact the overall productivity and efficiency of our manufacturing operations by developing and maintaining effective production schedules that meet customer needs while minimizing costs and downtime.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between production plans and supply chain capabilities.
  • Monitor production performance and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands.
  • Develop and maintain MPS aligning to demand and capacity.
  • Review weekly metrics and ensure adherence to goals.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program setting. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.

Required Qualifications
  • Completed post secondary education.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Production Planning within a manufacturing workplace.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning tools and software, such as MRP or ERP systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management, including planning, monitoring, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in production scheduling, planning and materials management.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace and influence others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
