Elevate your career as a Sheet Metal Technician in Mississauga, ON. Perform vital assembly and repair tasks in confined spaces such as wing fuel tanks. We seek a qualified Sheet Metal Mechanic with a minimum of two years in aircraft assembly experience. This role involves precision drilling, installation of fasteners, and repair of misaligned parts in aircraft wings. Your ability to interpret blueprints will be essential in executing tasks efficiently off work tags.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in confined space work, including wing fuel tanks
- Execute basic drilling, riveting, and fastener installations
- Interpret task cards and aircraft production plans
- Repair misaligned parts and carry out precision tasks
- Install bushings and handle structural assembly work
- Minimum of 2 years experience with aircraft scenarios
- 3+ years in precision riveting
- Proficiency in reading blueprints
- Ownership of essential mechanical tools
- Capability to operate under pressure
