Compensation   $25.00 per hour
What You’ll Do   Understand and follow all Health and Safety procedures.
Work safely in accordance to safe electrical practices.
Report production work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordinate work efforts to perform assembly of pre-fabricated components and sub-assemblies to form completed builds utilizing engineering drawings, schematics, bill of materials and manufacturing work instructions.
Work effectively in a team with other assembler’s and technicians or individually to achieve production of quality products and/or assemblies.
Conduct multiple inspections and quality functions specific to product build following Quality SOP.
Assist with on the job training, knowledge sharing and learning with other colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and find competent solutions to mechanical and electrical issues.
Ability to work and be an active participant in a 6S work environment.
Wire and test electrical assemblies and cables; following engineering schematics.
Complete all required documentation for quality assurance and build progress tracking.
Who You Are (Qualifications)   High school diploma or the equivalent.
Technical trade school certificate, Electrical, Mechanical, Machine Building, Software Interfaces.
0-5 year of experience in a mechanical production environment.
Ability to trouble shoot mechanical assemblies, electrical assemblies and software interfaces to determine causes, provide solutions, and correct inconsistencies.
Run tests on all assemblies and equipment to test for safety, productivity and product consistency following outlined test procedures.
Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly of a part, machine, or piece of equipment.
Verify dimensions of parts, using precision measuring instruments, to ensure that specifications are met.
Repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies.
Test the performance of electro-mechanical assemblies, using test instruments.
Test and operate machines, analyze and record test results.
Test performance of motors and drives.
Good oral and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work as an individual contributor and as a member of a team as required.
Ability to follow direction and learn in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrated knowledge in mechanical machine assembly.
Demonstrated knowledge in software operating systems.
Responsible for maintaining quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products to ensure the conform with specifications and codes
Manual Dexterity:
Working with mechanical hardware, using hand tools and handling small components requires manual dexterity. Using calibration equipment, and mechanical components to build mechanical and/or electrical/mechanical systems and assemblies.
Install drives, motors, firmware and systems software.
Detail Oriented.
Demonstrated basic computer skills, ability to use electronic manufacturing tools to report, and retrieve information.
