Assembly Technician II

Excelitas Technologies is seeking an Assembly Technician II for our morning shift in Mississauga, Ontario. This full-time role emphasizes assembling optical and electronic components with precision and attention to detail.

In this position, candidates will perform intermediate assembly tasks including mechanical assembly, soldering, and inline testing. The role requires at least 1-2 years of electronics assembly experience and a post-secondary diploma. You will ensure that all parts meet strict production standards while operating various machinery and following detailed instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble optical and electronic components with minimal supervision

• Conduct inline testing and inspections to meet standards

• Perform soldering, die bonding, and mechanical assembly tasks

• Install finished products in appropriate packaging materials

• Cross-train on various assembly programs as needed

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of electronics assembly experience

• Post-secondary diploma or certificate in related field

• Proficient with Microsoft Office software

• Strong English communication skills

• Familiarity with ISO standards is a plus
