Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Master Cam Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in CNC programming, particularly with Master Cam software. This role involves creating precise CNC programs for milling and lathe machines, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards. Candidates should be familiar with Fanuc controls, blueprint reading, and CAD software such as Solid Works.

A solid understanding of manufacturing principles, basic math, and machining techniques is essential to succeed in this position. The CNC Master Cam Programmer will play a critical role in optimizing machining operations and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our facility.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and write CNC programs using Master Cam X4 of higher for HAAS CNC vertical milling machines including 5-Axis
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce accurate machining instructions
  • Collaborate with team of setup operators and operators to optimize tool paths and machining parameters
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, hand tools, power tools, and fixtures for machining tasks
  • Perform basic math calculations to determine dimensions, tolerances, and feed rates
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements and reducing waste
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in CNC programming with Master Cam X4 and or higher software in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, tooling, and equipment setup
  • Familiarity with HAAS control systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, CAD files (Solid Works preferred), and manufacturing specifications
  • Hands‑on experience with CNC milling machines
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, basic math skills for machining calculations, and precision measurement tools such as calipers
