This role is suited for someone with manufacturing or machine-operation experience who is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working around automated industrial equipment, steam systems, compressed air, material handling, and production targets.

• Monitor process parameters such as steam, air, vacuum, cycle time, fill, cooling, density, block or part quality, and equipment alarms.

• Reset machine faults and alarms after identifying the cause and confirming it is safe to restart equipment.

• Identify basic operational issues and escalate mechanical, electrical, process, or safety concerns to maintenance or supervision.

• Perform machine startups, shutdowns, product changeovers, mold changes or setup support, and routine production adjustments.

• Inspect finished foam products for quality issues such as density variation, poor fusion, shrinkage, moisture, deformation, surface defects, or incomplete fill.

• Complete production records, quality checks, downtime logs, material usage records, and shift handover notes accurately.

• Handle raw materials and finished goods using approved methods, including bags, gaylords, bins, pallets, carts, conveyors, and forklifts where authorized.

• Maintain clean and organized work areas around machines, silos, pre-expanders, molds, packaging areas, and material storage locations.

• Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, PPE rules, housekeeping expectations, and environmental requirements.
