We are looking for a Product Developer to join our dynamic team at Trophy Foods.

The Product Developer will lead the development and commercialization of proprietary food products from concept through launch. Working under the guidance of the Product Development Manager, the incumbent will work with customer recipes and requests to create unique products and generate samples using a controlled and well-documented development process. The Product Developer will manage multiple development projects with little to no supervision, formulate products to meet customer and business objectives, and coordinate plant trials and first production runs.
The role requires a hands‑on approach and end-to-end ownership of assigned development work.
The role collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Material Planning, Packaging, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Finance, and external partners to ensure successful product implementation. Additional areas of focus include ingredient evaluations, nutritional analysis, regulatory compliance, specification development, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Product Developer will also contribute to innovation initiatives and support the development of repeatable, scalable product solutions.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Develop and reformulate products to meet targets for sensory attributes, nutrition, quality, cost, timeline, plant scalability, and customer expectations.
- Independently manage product development projects from concept through commercialization with minimal supervision.
- Lead plant trials, coordinate first production runs, develop manufacturing procedures, and troubleshoot production challenges to ensure successful scale-up and implementation.
- Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive records of formulations, process parameters, finished product results, ingredient specifications, nutritional information, and disposition of final product.
