Position: Maintenance Mechanic (John Smith - Temp converting to PLZ EE Sept 2026)

Overall responsibility of the Sr. Maintenance Mechanic is to lead a multi-disciplinary trade team in a production manufacturing environment in day-to-day operation and maintenance.
Key Responsibility:
Expert level of skills in the respective trade and aerosol manufacturingResponsible for the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF requirements, Standard Operating Procedures and other applicable regulatory requirementsEnsure that mechanics work safely and maintain safe working environmentEnsure that mechanics use required PPEs properlyWork as coach for mechanics and provide full guidance during diagnosis and troubleshootingSchedule and assign duties to mechanicsTroubleshoot the failures to support operations of the facilityTroubleshot the problems causing quality non-compliance to the productCoordinate with production supervisor for proactive planning to organize changeovers efficientlyMaintain the communication link between shiftsCoordinate with outside contractors for the safe and efficient execution of contract out jobs; escort contractors inside the facility and ensure that they are aware of all the safety and GMP requirements and are well attendedMonitor the inventory of spares, maintenance chemicals and special tools and order in timely mannerCoordinate for the test runs for new products; arrange for the parts and lead the set-ups required for new productsLead the line improvement projects that would enhance lines’ efficiency and improve production processesProvide inputs and support initiation and completion of CAPEX projectsWork in coordination with Maintenance Manager to train mechanics on relevant procedures.Provide inputs to Maintenance Manager for each worker's performance for the performance reviewsAdhere to site quality and safety processes and procedures.Ensure on regular basis that procedures are followed and work is done correctly.Other tasks as assigned.Qualifications:
Experienced journeyman maintenance mechanic with 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Trade certification (industrial mechanic, millwright and/or industrial electrician)Prior technical team leadership and ability to communicate across functions.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status or other protected status.
