Stainless steel finishing expertise defines this Metal Polisher role in a mechanical manufacturing workshop on a full-time day shift. Precision matters.
The Metal Polisher finishes components for bakery manufacturing equipment, meeting quality, hygiene, and appearance standards. You will polish, grind, and sand stainless steel using manual, mechanical, and pneumatic tools. The work requires careful surface inspection and consistent sanitary finishes.
Key Responsibilities:- Polish, grind, and sand stainless steel parts and structures
- Remove weld marks and round sharp component edges
- Create uniform, smooth, sanitary surface finishes
- Inspect parts visually throughout each finishing stage
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures consistently
- Relevant metal polishing experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Good knowledge of metals, particularly stainless steel
- Precise operation of power and pneumatic tools
- Strong attention to surface finish and appearance
- Ability to stand and handle parts in noisy environments
