Afternoon Shift Production Supervisor

Lead afternoon food production at Grand River Foods through safety controls, quality systems, and effective team supervision. Drive dependable operations on the production floor.

As Production Supervisor, you will oversee production activities while supporting Health and Safety controls and Good Manufacturing Practices. The position emphasizes efficiency, quality, cost control, employee coaching, and workforce organization. You will also support continuous improvement and maintain effective communication across production teams.

• Supervise production activities and enforce Health and Safety controls
• Monitor efficiencies, quality, and production costs
• Coach, train, develop, and evaluate production staff
• Plan manpower, organize work, and manage absenteeism
• Lead Root Cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

• Five or more years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Diploma or post-secondary education
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Outlook
• Weekend overtime availability when required
