Operate a 3-axis Matsuura CNC milling machine at BEX Engineering in Mississauga, using setup, programming, and precision measurement skills. This permanent full-time position runs 40 hours weekly.
The CNC Milling Operator sets up and operates milling machines for non-repetitive machining work under shop foreman supervision. You will read engineering drawings, use G/M code programming, and produce parts to required specifications. The work includes milling, boring, drilling, facing, inspections, and program optimization.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up tooling and operate 3-axis Matsuura vertical milling machines
- Read drawings and determine machining operation sequences
- Complete first-off quality control inspections
- Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and precision instruments
- Optimize programs to reduce cycle and setup times
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of preferred 3-axis CNC milling experience
- Knowledge of G/M code programming
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds
