Sr Copywriter

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly creative Senior Copywriter who can turn insights, ideas, and briefs into compelling communication across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller with an exceptional command of language, a sharp understanding of audiences and culture, and the ability to develop original ideas that build brands and drive engagement.

You will work closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, Strategists, Account Managers, and other creative teams to develop campaigns and content from concept through execution.

• Develop big ideas, campaign concepts, creative platforms, and compelling copy based on briefs and brand objectives.
• Write and develop communication across digital, social media, advertising, video, print, websites, activations, and other platforms.
• Create campaign headlines, taglines, scripts, social content, brand narratives, product copy, and long-form content.
• Translate complex briefs and business objectives into simple, engaging, and memorable communication.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, Creative Directors, and other team members to develop integrated creative concepts.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute original ideas and cultural insights.
• Develop compelling scripts for films, digital videos, social content, commercials, and branded content.
• Adapt brand communication across different audiences, formats, channels, and tones of voice.
• Research brands, audiences, competitors, trends, culture, and relevant topics to strengthen creative work.
• Present and articulate creative concepts clearly to internal teams and clients.
• Work closely with designers and production teams to ensure the final execution reflects the original creative idea.
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, grammar, and brand alignment.
• Maintain and evolve brand tone of voice and messaging guidelines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high creative standard.
• Mentor junior copywriters and contribute to the development of the wider creative team.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Advertising, Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field

• 5–8+ years of copywriting experience in an advertising agency, creative studio, brand, media, or content environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign thinking, storytelling, conceptual writing, and multi-platform communication
  .
• Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, tone, and structure.
• Ability to develop both short-form and long-form copy
  .
• Strong understanding of advertising, branding, digital media, social platforms, and contemporary culture.
• Experience writing scripts for films, commercials, digital content, and branded storytelling is an advantage.
• Strong conceptual and strategic thinking.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to receive feedback, collaborate effectively, and refine ideas without losing the core creative thought.
