The PACU RN plays a key role in airway assessment, cardiac monitoring, and comprehensive nursing supervision of patients recovering from anesthesia. You will be part of an inter-skilled team that emphasizes excellence and compassionate care. Recent experience in PACU or Critical Care is essential for this impactful role.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patient airways effectively
- Conduct continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Develop and deliver educational resources for patients
- Uphold patient safety and care protocols
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program
- Current certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Required 1-2 years of relevant experience
- ACLS and Critical Care courses completion
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
