Position: Full Time Cardiology Nurse

The 2C Cardiology unit is a vital part of the Regional Cardiac Program, offering comprehensive acute care services. As a Registered Nurse, you'll support a diverse mix of complex cardiology patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality medical management and care for post-surgical patients. Your expertise in cardiac care will directly impact patient outcomes in our 50-bed unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to complex cardiology patients

• Administer medications and initiate IV therapy as required

• Monitor patient vitals and maintain blood glucose oversight

• Facilitate educational sessions for patients and families

• Collaborate with cardiac care teams for optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a recognized nursing program

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing

• At least 1 year of acute care/cardiac nursing experience

• BCLS certification required;
Coronary Care course commitment

• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
