Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated  Registered Practical Nurses (RPN)  for  part-time  roles in  Mississauga . This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients, with the flexibility to choose from various shifts. As an RPN, you will provide high-quality care in long-term care facilities and other healthcare settings, contributing significantly to the well-being of patients.
Compensation:
$32 - $35 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor health progress
Develop, implement, and revise personalized care plans based on the evolving needs of each patient
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing protocols and facility policies
Provide direct patient care, ensuring high standards of practice and adherence to the College of Nurses of Ontario
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective communication
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and health and safety standards

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RPN)  Degree from an accredited institution
Active  Certificate of Competence  with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Minimum  1-year experience  in long-term care, seniors' homes, or hospital settings
BLS/ACLS & eCTAS Certifications  (asset)
Availability for shifts across all times (days, evenings, nights, weekends)
Proficiency in MS Word and email communication
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC):  Required (valid within 1 year)
TB Test:  Required (valid within 6 months)
Proof of current  MMRV immunization  required
N95 Mask Fit Test Certification:  Required
