Part-Time Wound Care Nurse

Spectrum Health Care is looking for a part-time Wound Care Nurse in Mississauga to provide exceptional patient-centered care. This role is essential in supporting patients with unique wound care needs.

As a Wound Care Nurse, you will offer individualized, holistic nursing care and develop specific care plans for patients dealing with wound, ostomy, and continence issues. You’ll also work closely with your healthcare team to apply the most effective nursing practices, improving health outcomes for patients in the community. Flexibility in addressing changing patient needs while traveling to patient homes within your designated area will be crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized nursing care to patients

• Develop detailed assessments for patient needs

• Collaborate with team members for optimal care

• Follow best practices in nursing for effective results

• Travel to various patient locations as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum two years experience in nursing

• NSWOC or IIWCC certification completed

• CNO registration required for Ontario

• Proficient in managing your own patient caseload

• Basic knowledge of Word and Excel for reports
