Clinical Leadership Director at AgeCare East Region

Join Age Care as the Corporate Director of Care in Mississauga, Ontario. This role, focused on clinical leadership, aims to ensure the highest standards of resident care throughout the East Region.

As the Corporate Director of Care, you will directly support Age Care communities by fostering adherence to best practices in nursing and regulatory compliance. Your mentorship will empower Directors of Care as you lead quality initiatives and improve resident outcomes through innovative practices in geriatric care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide interim support to Directors of Care as required

• Mentor and coach clinical leaders for effective onboarding

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards

• Monitor clinical quality through audits and assessments

• Develop, implement, and evaluate care programs and policies

Requirements:

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least five years in leadership roles in Long-Term Care

• Expertise in geriatric care, including nursing and related services

• Advanced knowledge in wound care is an asset

• Experience with quality improvement and compliance programs
