Director of Care Corporate - West Region

The Opportunity  The Corporate Director of Care provides clinical leadership and operational support across Age Care communities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. This role supports homes through leadership transitions, compliance challenges, and quality improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, Accreditation Standards, and nursing best practices.
What You Will Do   Provide interim Director of Care coverage and clinical leadership support to homes as needed.
Mentor and support Directors of Care and clinical leaders through onboarding, coaching, and education.
Guide teams in the application of regulatory requirements, nursing standards, and best practices.
Monitor clinical quality, infection prevention and control, and regulatory compliance through audits, assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support investigations, corrective action planning, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance resident outcomes.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs, policies, and performance indicators.
Support staff education, regulatory readiness, and accreditation activities across assigned homes.
Stay current with legislative, clinical, and electronic health record developments and contribute to organizational initiatives and industry engagement.
What You Bring   Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
Minimum five (5) years of progressive leadership and management experience in Long-Term Care.
Demonstrated expertise in geriatric care, including nursing, medical, restorative, dietary, activation, and environmental services.
Advanced wound care knowledge is considered an asset.
Experience leading quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance programs.

Salary:  $120,000 - $127,500
