Wound Care Nurse - Community Visits

Join S.R.T. Med Staff as a Wound Care Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse. Deliver holistic nursing care in the Greater Toronto Area while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

As part of S.R.T. Med Staff's Community Visiting Nursing Program, you will provide safe and effective nursing care to patients across various locations. We are looking for an experienced RN or RPN who is Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Certified in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Emphasize patient advocacy and safety while collaborating with families and healthcare professionals to develop care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate care plans in collaboration with patients and families

• Administer nursing care per the established plan

• Evaluate and adjust treatment plans as necessary

• Act as an advocate for patient rights

• Promote patient safety and comfort in their homes

Requirements:

• Valid RN or RPN license in Ontario

• Wound care certification (WOCC or IIWCC)

• One year of recent community nursing experience

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
