Casual Registered Nurse - Cardiology

This position in Trillium Health Partners’ Regional Cardiac Program requires a registered nurse with a solid acute care background. You will support various procedures, focus on patient-centered care, and work closely with interdisciplinary professionals. Prior telemetry experience and a Baccalaureate degree are preferred for this role, which includes 12-hour shifts on days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in 2C Cardiology unit

• Administer medications and IV therapy as needed

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs

• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal care

• Educate patients and families on health management

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized nursing program

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience

• Completion of Coronary Care 1 course

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
