Registered Nurse 3B Cardiac Unit

Elevate cardiac care as a Registered Nurse in Trillium Health Partners' 3B unit. This part-time, job-sharing role offers comprehensive patient management on days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

As a key member of an interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to acute cardiac patients at Credit Valley Hospital. We are seeking a dedicated nurse with at least two years of acute medical/surgical experience, who excels in patient education and can facilitate patient and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage nursing care for cardiac patients

• Serve as a consultant and educator for health team members

• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and best practices

• Participate actively in patient assessment and care planning

• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families

Requirements:

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum 2 years of acute medical/surgical experience

• Coronary Care 1 course completion or commitment to complete

• BCLS and preferred ACLS certification

• Accessibility to 12-hour shifts including weekends
