Become a vital part of Trillium Health Partners as a Registered Nurse in the Birthing Suites at Credit Valley Hospital. This full-time role offers the chance to deliver exceptional care in a supportive team environment.

You will engage in critical assessments and prioritize interventions in high-stakes situations, ensuring each mother and child receives personalized attention. Responsibilities include providing postpartum care, conducting newborn assessments, and offering health education on breastfeeding. With an emphasis on collaboration with diverse healthcare professionals, you will play an essential role in enhancing the birthing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized postpartum care and newborn assessments

• Provide breastfeeding education and support to new mothers

• Collaborate with midwives, obstetricians, and pediatricians

• Educate families about postpartum care needs

• Act as a patient advocate for optimal birthing experiences

Requirements:

• Previous experience in postpartum and intrapartum nursing

• Enrollment in a Perinatal Nursing program required

• Current certifications in NRP and CPR mandatory

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills needed

• Excellent communication abilities for teamwork
