Registered Nurse Sexual Assault Care Clinic

This role is vital in supporting victims of sexual assault and domestic violence while reporting to the manager of the specialized care center. You will utilize your crisis intervention skills and sound clinical judgment to address sensitive situations. Furthermore, working across various shifts will ensure comprehensive care for clients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate medical care for sexual assault victims

• Utilize crisis intervention skills effectively in tense situations

• Maintain excellent communication with clients and community professionals

• Conduct thorough physical assessments of patients

• Participate actively in the on-call response team

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• BCLS certification required

• Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and assessments

• Sensitivity towards issues faced by victims

• Ability to work independently and as a team player
