This position at the Mississauga Hospital site involves 12-hour shifts on days, nights, and weekends. As a key member of the CSICU team, you will manage complex cardiac patients requiring advanced procedures like CABG and valve repairs. We seek candidates with critical care certification and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care for complex cardiac patients

• Collaborate with an interprofessional team on critical interventions

• Conduct advanced physical assessments in emergencies

• Engage in ongoing professional development and learning

• Educate patients on their care plans and expected outcomes

Requirements:

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Enrolled in a recognized Critical Care Certificate Program

• BCLS and ACLS certification required

• Recent ICU nursing experience preferred

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
