Emergency Registered Nurse

This contract role focuses on emergency nursing care, requiring candidates with at least two years of recent Emergency Department experience. As a valued returning nurse, you will handle trauma cases, medical emergencies, and acute presentations with a collaborative healthcare team.

Your role will involve triage, emergency interventions, and patient care documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate overall nursing care for assigned patients

• Provide clinical leadership in complex care settings

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient outcomes

• Administer medications, including IV doses

• Perform rapid triage assessments using CTAS

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience

• Active registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing

• Basic Life Support - Level C certification

• Strong English communication skills

• Legal right to work in Canada
