Embark on an exciting Nursing career as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse with the Nova Scotia Health Authority in Mississauga. This travel nursing contract emphasizes critical emergency care for diverse patient needs.
As a crucial member of the high-acuity care team, you will manage trauma and medical emergencies. Candidates should possess at least two years of Emergency Department experience and the ability to perform triage assessments. Familiarity with Nova Scotia Health practices is preferred, especially for returning nurses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct nursing care for complex patient cases
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Administer medications in accordance with hospital policy
• Participate in emergency response and stabilization protocols
• Ensure accurate documentation and policy compliance
Requirements:
• 2+ years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Accredited nursing school graduation
• Active NSCN registration or eligibility
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Ability to work legally in Canada
