Registered Practical Nurse Long-Term Care

Deliver professional nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Age Care Wenleigh in Mississauga, Ontario, supporting residents and directing Personal Support Workers.

This temporary part-time RPN position provides nursing care in accordance with medical requirements and professional practice. You will collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, healthcare partners, and care teams. The work includes resident status updates, shift reporting, policy implementation, and long-term care nursing.

• Provide professional nursing care to residents
• Direct Personal Support Workers on the care team
• Notify physicians about significant resident status changes
• Participate in healthcare team shift reports
• Implement Age Care policies and procedures

• Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
• Membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
• Knowledge of applicable healthcare legislation and regulations
• Understanding of activation, nursing, and personnel administration
