Licensed Practical Nurses deliver client and family centred care across Vancouver General Hospital’s acute surgical units while supporting interdisciplinary teams.
Vancouver Coastal Health seeks Licensed Practical Nurses for its Surgical Clinical Resource Team. You will provide full scope practical nursing for predictable outcomes, support Registered Nurses with complex care, and maintain BCCNM clinical competence.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document client care
- Provide support to clients and their families
- Work independently within designated specialty areas
- Support Registered Nurses with unpredictable or complex outcomes
- Respond across acute surgical units as staffing needs arise
- Graduate from a recognized Practical Nursing program
- Hold current BCCNM practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Deal effectively with others
- Organize work and operate related equipment
