Research Chemist; Drug Product

Position: Research Chemist (Drug Product)
Join our Drug Product team as a Research Chemist, where you'll play a key role in supporting the development of liquid and solid oral dosage forms. Reporting to the Head of Pre-Formulations, you'll contribute to both laboratory operations and analytical activities in a dynamic GMP environment.

In this role, you will be hands-on in analytical method development, validation, and testing, while also supporting equipment setup, onboarding, and routine lab operations. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute stability studies, prepare technical documentation, and ensure projects are delivered on time.

This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented scientist who is passionate about quality, compliance (cGMP/GLP), and driving pharmaceutical innovation.

Key Highlights:

Support analytical method development, validation, transfer, and testing

Assist with stability studies in line with regulatory guidelines (ICH)

Contribute to GMP documentation (SOPs, specifications, reports)

Maintain compliance with cGMP, GLP, and internal procedures

Partner with Drug Product Operations to deliver client projects efficiently

Qualifications:

Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field

3+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory or manufacturing environment

2+ years of method transfer/validation

Expertise in GMP, GLP and other Health Canada guidelines

The starting annual base compensation for this position is $60,000 CAD. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
