Asbestos Analysis Expert at AGAT

Step into a key role as an Asbestos Analysis Expert at AGAT Laboratories. This position combines data analysis, quality control, and essential technical support for superior service delivery.

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining PLM microscopes while ensuring laboratory compliance with established procedures.

Your role includes reviewing analytical data for accuracy and engaging in mentoring focused on quality control processes. You’ll also participate in process improvements, supporting the lab’s continuous evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct analyses with a PLM microscope

• Review and ensure accuracy of analytical data

• Document and adhere to AGAT's SOPs

• Assist in quality control and mentor laboratory staff

• Support investigations into nonconformance events

Requirements:

• Technical Diploma or Degree in Science required

• Minimum 1 year experience in asbestos analysis

• Mandatory asbestos training course completion

• Understanding of EPA standards and QA/QC procedures

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
