Elevate product quality as a Quality Technician with Piston Automotive, focusing on testing and inspection of welded parts. Analyze data to ensure compliance and reliability in production.
This role requires a high school diploma and five years of experience in quality assurance. You will interpret engineering drawings and set up tests for dimensional and performance evaluations. Collaborate with production associates and engineers to address quality concerns and maintain standards throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Test products at specified production stages
• Record and evaluate data applying statistical quality control
• Perform destructive and nondestructive tests
• Conduct daily process audits for weld cells
• Manage the LPA process audit and document findings
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum five years of quality technician experience
• Proficient in SPC and MSA/GR&R
• Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
