Quality Control Coordinator - Civil  The Quality Control Coordinator – Civil will assist in implementing and maintaining quality assurance and control processes across our construction projects. This individual will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry regulations, and company standards.
This role will be based out of Tiverton, Ontario.
Responsibilities   Support the implementation and monitoring of the company’s quality control program.
Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
Assist in identifying and addressing quality concerns, coordinating corrective actions with site teams.
Maintain and organize quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance records.
Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure quality expectations are met.
Help coordinate quality audits and inspections conducted by internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Guide site personnel on quality control best practices and procedures.
Support lessons learned sessions at project close-out to drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
Qualifications   A diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is an asset.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CQM, ISO 9001, CSA standards) are advantageous.
3-5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in ICI, residential, or special projects.
Familiarity with construction trades, practices, and quality standards.
Strong organizational and documentation skills, with keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Proficiency in construction management software and the Microsoft Office Suite is an asset.
