Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the QA Technician, Distribution Center, will be responsible for supporting the completion of daily tasks required to maintain the integrity of the Food Safety Management System within the Quality Assurance department.
This is a new position for the company.
Shift   Mon - Fri (fully onsite, in‑person)

What you will be doing:
Tasks related to document control which include maintenance of registers/logbooks, participation in the annual document review, lead communication on document changes, filing of records as needed on the public drive, review of operational records for accuracy and completeness.
Monitoring of Site, building and Vehicle Operational Requirements
Monitoring facility Management
Control of Nonconformances / Execution of the Hold/Release program
Complaints handling and Investigation on /Product Returns
Fostering Good Operating Practices
Special Projects for continual Improvement
Adhere/comply with company policies and procedures.
Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of improved department‑specific processes, policies and procedures.
What you will bring:
No previous experience is required;
Team‑player with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders;
Analytical, with problem‑identification and problem‑solving capabilities;
Ability to work/excel in a fast‑paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi‑tasking is essential;
General Computer Skills (e.g. MS Office);
Undergraduate degree in Food Safety, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or related field.
