Elevate engine assembly quality as the Lead Hand for Engine Development r role will focus on team leadership and ensuring adherence to rigorous quality standards.
This position requires a skilled individual who can lead a team of assemblers and technicians effectively, focusing on safety and quality in process execution. You will be responsible for mentoring, resolving technical challenges, and coordinating training needs while ensuring efficient manpower distribution for engine projects. Your daily responsibilities will also include performing EHS inspections and maintaining paperwork compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead teams of skilled operators and test technicians
• Mentor new personnel and address build issues promptly
• Complete all necessary quality documentation accurately
• Support initiatives to enhance FOD culture and inspection processes
• Manage technical training alongside team supervisors
Requirements:
• Vocational education or HS diploma with relevant experience
• Minimum of 10 years in assembly and testing environments
• Thorough knowledge of compressor and turbine processes
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure setting
• Strong analytical and communication skills
