QA/QC Specialist (Quality Assurance / Quality Control)
Our client is a well-established and growing organization within the medical device and healthcare distribution sector, supporting laboratories, hospitals, and clinical environments across Canada. With a strong reputation for technical expertise and customer support, the organization partners with leading global manufacturers to deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic solutions.
Compensation: 85k
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement standardized quality systems and processes across the organizationEnsure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and industry quality standardsEstablish and maintain QA/QC policies, procedures, and documentationSupport and coach internal teams on quality requirements and best practicesLead inspections, testing, and verification activities across service and operational functionsConduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into service delivery and operationsSupport internal, supplier, and regulatory audits (including Health Canada, where applicable)Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of tools and equipmentQualifications & Experience
Diploma or degree in Quality Assurance or a related technical field5+ years of progressive QA/QC experience in a technical, industrial, or manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory frameworks (., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CSA)Experience leading audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiativesStrong analytical, documentation, and communication skillsProficiency with QA/QC tools, systems, and reporting technologiesAbility to work independently and collaborate across teamsPreferred Assets
Quality certifications (., CQE, CQT, ISO Lead Auditor, NDT Level II)Experience with digital QA/QC platforms and data analytics toolsEqual Opportunity & Accessibility Statement
