Tire and Wheel Process Engineering Lead

Become a key player at Piston Automotive Canada as a Tire and Wheel Engineer, focused on ensuring the readiness and stabilization of Tire and Wheel processes. This position integrates high automation and robust systems thinking.

In this role, you will manage the complexities of Tire and Wheel production, ensuring effective alignment of processes across diverse teams. Your responsibilities will include developing risk mitigation strategies and improving diagnostics. You’ll lead the response to quality issues while enforcing discipline in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage readiness for Tire and Wheel launches, handling complexities

• Ensure alignment of APQP, PFMEA, and Control Plans across teams

• Implement systems for quality assurance and rework strategies

• Collaborate with teams to optimize maintenance and reliability plans

• Drive timely responses to quality challenges and customer requests

Requirements:

• Profound understanding of automated assembly processes

• 5+ years in managing broadcast-driven operations in automotive

• Problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments

• Effective communication for cross-functional leadership

• Preferred experience with OEM clients in Tire & Wheel sectors
