Staff Plus is hiring an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector for our client in Mississauga.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on manufacturing inspection experience who is comfortable reading mechanical drawings, checking parts against specifications, completing quality documentation, and identifying product or process issues.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Manager and production team to ensure incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet required quality standards.
Job Type: Full time, ongoing
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Day Shift:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
What You'll do:
- Perform incoming inspections of parts and materials according to drawings and specifications.
- Inspect outbound and finished products to ensure customer requirements and quality standards are met.
- Complete end-of-line inspections.
- Review final inspection documentation and verify accuracy against sales orders.
- Identify and report quality concerns, defects, or non-conformances to the Quality Manager.
- Perform process audits and verify completion of quality checklists.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and product specifications.
- Use basic inspection and measuring tools to verify product quality.
- Maintain accurate quality records, inspection documentation, and daily shift logs.
- Work with production and quality team members to resolve inspection or quality concerns.
- Follow established quality procedures and company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and participate in 5S activities.
- Follow all company Health and Safety procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum 1 year of Quality Control, Quality Inspector, or related manufacturing inspection experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Experience inspecting parts, materials, or finished products.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Experience using basic inspection or measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
- Comfortable completing inspection records, quality documentation, and daily logs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees at different levels of the organization.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with assistance when required.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that may occasionally include heat and noise.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and work full time hours as required by this position.
