Join Aliaxis as a Health, Safety, and Environment Specialist in Scarborough, where your skills will enhance workplace safety and compliance programs. The role includes implementing strategies and driving HSE culture on-site.
As part of the team, you will be critical in developing and maintaining HSE management systems. You'll lead the execution of safety initiatives and facilitate compliance audits to uphold regulations. This position allows you to engage with various stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture and support the development of safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop site-specific HSE procedures and training
• Conduct audits and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support investigations into safety non-conformities
• Manage the distribution of HSE reference materials
• Support environmental compliance reporting and KPIs
Requirements:
• Technical Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
• 5 years’ experience in HSE field
• Experience with in a manufacturing setting
• Proficient in communication and training delivery
• Strong computer literacy and technical skills
