Our client seeks a Food Safety and Quality Manager to drive regulatory compliance and food safety initiatives during a growth phase. Reporting to an esteemed VP of R&D and Quality, you’ll be instrumental in shaping quality programs, addressing challenges, and supporting new manufacturing operations through strategic direction and training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead improvement of HACCP and GFSI certification systems
• Oversee regulatory inspections and compliance audits
• Support development of new food safety programs
• Manage Canadian and US regulations, including CFIA and FDA
• Strengthen supplier quality and traceability programs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field
• Minimum 7 years in Food Safety and Quality Assurance
• Leadership experience in food manufacturing
• Certifications in HACCP, PCQI, and GFSI standards
• Knowledge of US food regulations and labeling
